Few things make a room sparkle like a fresh coat of paint, but there's the odor. Now more and more paints promise to cut down on fumes. These so-called "low-odor" paints are marketed to people who don't like the smell

Back in 1997, Consumer Reports compared the smell of regular latex paint with some that promised to be low odor. The paints that promised low odor did have less smell but weren't always great paint.
